2021 Ford Escape key fob made

In this job one of our locksmiths coded an additional spare key fob for a customer’s 2021 Ford Escape.

As you can see in the video below, the customer already had 3 key fob programmed to the car, but he wasn’t sure where they all of them are.

In this case he just wanted an additional key fob coded, meaning the other 3 would still work.

Sometimes in situations like this, we recommend erasing all previous keys (as the customer doesn’t know if someone else has them) and then coding a new key fob. This process will make sure that if someone has the additional key fobs, they wont work on the car any longer.

However, as mentioned, in this case the customer wasn’t too worried about that so we just coded another key fob.

Another important point mentioned in the video is that we show how to start the car in case the key fob battery is dead, which can be very very helpful incase you have no spare battery and you need to start the car.

You can see where you should lay the key down for the car to recognize it and start it even with a dead key fob battery.
