How to start 2023 Chevy Traverse with a dead key fob battery

In this job a locksmith for Chevy car keys had to make a new key fob for a 2023 Chevy Traverse.

He took the time to show us what to do in case the key fob battery is dead and you cant start the car.

As you can see in the photos and video, there is a dedicated slot to put the key fob so the car can read the chip manually.

This is a very useful and important feature that all Chevy cars that use remote key fobs have.

Remember that this is only a temporary solution and you should go and replace the battery as soon as you can.

Finally, this slot is also the slot locksmiths use to program new or add additional Chevy Traverse key fobs.
