How to start Cadillac ATS with a dead key fob battery

In this job, we had to program new key fob for a 2014 Cadillac ATS.

The locksmith took the time to also show you what to do in case your key fob battery is dead and how to start your car.

As you can see in the video, the spot where you should put your key fob, is inside the arms rest. Once you insert the key fob to this slot, the car can read the chip of the key fob manually, allowing your to start the car.

This is very important because if you fob battery dies you wont be able to start the car unless you put it in this spot.

Btw, this is also the spot where you should put your key fob for programming purposes.
