How to unlock 2020 Nissan Altima or any other Nissan with a dead key fob battery
In this job one of our locksmiths made a new key fob for a 2020 Nissan Altima in Bronx NY. He had to cut and program the new key fob on site as we always do as you can see in the pictures.
It was also a good chance to create a short video and to show you how to unlock your Nissan Altima, or any other Nissan vehicle that uses a key fob, even if the key fob battery is dead.
This is a very common situation when the key fob battery died and you cant unlock your car because the remote doesn’t work.
This is exactly why we have the emergency key provided with the key and as you can see in the video below, all you have to do is to take the emergency key out and unlock the door.
Note: This is assuming your emergency key was cut and its not just a blank key.
If it is a blank key, you should go to a locksmith or dealer to cut it for you so you can unlock the car.
