How to unlock a 2018 Nissan Rogue with a dead key fob battery

In this job one of our affiliated automotive locksmith had to program new keys for a Nissan Rogue. We asked him to show us how to unlock the door incase your key fob battery is dead and the remote wont work.

As you can see in the video, he is unlocking a 2018 Nissan Rogue door with the emergency key provided with the key fob.

Remember to check and make sure your emergency key is cut as well so it will be ready when you need it.

If it isn’t , we suggest you call a locksmith or dealership to cut it for you so it will be ready to use.

The process should take less than 5 minutes when codes are available.
