For example, GQ43VT9T keyless remote is compatible with Chrysler LHS for all years between 1998-2000 as well as for Chrysler 300 1999-2000. The process of programming a new Chrysler keyless entry remote involve three phases.

  1. Choosing the right keyless for your specific model.
  2. Buying the remote
  3. Program the remote

Let’s go over each one of these steps.

First step – Choose the right keyless entry remote.

Choosing the right remote for your model is the most important thing. Some remotes look alike but have different frequencies they work on. Therefore, choosing the right is crucial.

The first thing you should do is verifying the year your car was made. The best way to do that is by the VIN number.

Second, now that we know the year and model, we can choose the right keyless remote.

First,

Remember that you will need at least one entry remote working and functioning to program an additional one. In case you have none, you will have to call an automotive locksmith or the dealer.

Make sure all doors are closed and sit in the driver seat.

 

Second,

On the working remote you have, press the “Lock” button five times, in 2 seconds intervals. Then, insert your car key in the ignition and turn the ignition to ” Run” position. Wait about 2-3 seconds, and the press on the working remote “Unlock” button for 3-11 seconds.

 

Third,

Within this time (3-11 seconds), keep pressing the “Unlock ” button together with the “Panic” button for an additional 2 seconds.

Now, you can release both buttons.

In case you did it right, a chime will sound, indicating the car is in programming mode.

 

Fourth,

Again, with the working remote, within 30 seconds of the chime, press and release the “Lock” and “Unlock” buttons simultaneously then press and release just the “Unlock” button.

In case you did it right, a chime will sound, indicating the remote has been programmed.

 

Fifth,

ON THE NEW REMOTE:

press and release the “Lock” and “Unlock” buttons simultaneously then press and release just the “Unlock” button.

In case you did it right, a chime will sound, indicating the remote has been programmed.

You can do this step again for any additional remote you want to program.
